Whe...Haha, I don’t blame you for missing the wagon! When you’re used to having a lot of space, it can be pretty hard to adjust to a smaller car. I am driving a Mitsubishi wagon, but I once had to borrow my father’s Mitsubishi Galant while my car was in the shop. I would really miss the space whenever I looked at the back of the car!Arlyne Nelmshttp://www.spartantoyota.com/page/find_my_car/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8117569426798125339.post-11258055883104964412012-02-23T10:06:11.742-08:002012-02-23T10:06:11.742-08:00Haha. They have answers to all of the questions that anyone could possibly ask them about their supposed job that they really have never done at all.

The only problem with having an alternate job is that you'll get asked questions about THAT job instead of your own. Then again, you can just make stuff up and it really wouldn't matter now, would it?

I usually just tell people something as simple as possible and leave it at that: "I work for a software company." I usually get one of two responses: "Oh, do you work for Microsoft?", which I promptly ignore with a curt "no." or something more profound like "hell no." If someone really wants to know, I give them more detail and tell them I work for a statistical analysis software company, and that usually shuts them up pretty quickly. Nobody knows a damn thing about statistics. :)

I think you should stick with "I work for the government", which in a roundabout way is still true. :)Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02402988626481081925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8117569426798125339.post-64278725508551975042010-09-20T06:56:13.361-07:002010-09-20T06:56:13.361-07:00Thanks!! Teachers are better teachers if they can take their sick days and know it's not a lost day of instruction and know their kids are still learning in a safe, respectful and positive environment.

But it still kills me to think of how many people USED to have classrooms but have since been laid off and now are subbing.
